【一起 Togetherness】

科技與網路不那麼發達的從前,人們透過聊天喝茶等直接互動來建立關係或維繫情感;而隨著進入現代智慧的生活,我們的溝通方式,已經轉而被數位化的文字與圖像取代並佔滿生活。

人與人有形的距離縮短了,心與心之間無形的距離卻陌生了。

希望用一份「一起」的心情、「一起」的觀念,投入新的思考角度與設計手法,來找回「一起」的歸屬感,藉由創意找回美好生活中該有的溫度、感動與驚喜!

Thinking back to an age when technology wasn’t quite so prevalent, we remember a time when people were able to build relationships with nothing more than sharing a pot of tea and trading kind words. Now, the tangible distances have become smaller, but the intangible gap between individuals has grown larger.

“Togetherness” is a modern necessity that people always ignore, as the more feeling of closeness can make a warmer and happier world. Let us use the power of design to raise the temperatures of our life, and gives us the strength to discover the surprises and creations of life.

參賽資格Qualification

不限年齡之學生及國內外設計師、設計相關系所老師,及對設計創作有興趣者。

※可以個人或團隊參賽;參賽件數不限。若團體報名,僅需使用一個帳號上傳作品。

Designers; teachers or students of design related departments or schools; people interested in design. (With no restrictions on nationality and age)

※Participants can join the competition as individuals or in team. There is no limit on the number of entries.

參賽類別Category

類別不限(含產品設計、視覺傳達設計、包裝設計及多媒體設計等)。

Product Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communication Design, Digital Multimedia Design etc.

參賽程序Registration Procedures

(1) 報名時間Deadline

即日起至7月2日(星期二) , 台北時間17:00 (GMT+08:00), 逾期不受理。

Registration received after 17:00 (GMT+8:00) on 2 June 2013 will not be accepted.

(2) 報名方式Registration Regulations

※Participants are advised to provide a frequently used email(s) address to avoid problems in sending information related to the competition.

評選標準Screening Criteria

 

以創意出發,突破現有設計,並能表達主題概念與美感的創意作品。

Designs capable of achieving breakthroughs from existing product models based on innovation and of expressing concepts pertinent to the theme as well as aesthetics.

 

創意Creativity 40%|美感Aesthetics 20%|設計完整性Design Completeness 20%|模型及圖面表達Design Presentation 10% |主題之切題性Thematic 10%

頒發獎項

(一)金獎 1名:獎金新台幣50萬元,獎座1座,獎狀1紙。

Gold Award 1 Winner: NT$500,000 (approx. US$15,000) a trophy, and a certificate

(二)銀獎 1名:獎金新台幣20萬元,獎座1座,獎狀1紙。

Silver Award 1 Winner: NT$200,000 (approx. US$6,000) a trophy, and a certificate

(三)銅獎 1名:獎金新台幣10萬元,獎座1座,獎狀1紙。

Bronze Award 1 winner: NT$100,000 (approx. US$3,000) a trophy, and a certificate

(四)佳作 若干名:獎金新台幣1萬元,獎狀1紙。

Honorable Mentions: NT$10,000 (approx. US$300) and a certificate

※得獎名次將視參賽作品質與量以調整獎項;所有得獎者將公布於專屬網站及國際媒體上,以提供台灣廠商進行設計合作案時洽詢。

The prizes will be adjusted according to the quality and quantity of participating works. The winners will be announced on the dedicated website and in the international media to provide Taiwanese suppliers with design cooperation inquiries.

 

 

注意事項Terms &Conditions

(一) 關於參賽者For the participants

1. 所有參賽作品均不予退件。No participating works will be returned.

2. 參加競賽作品應為自行創作之作品,且於報名前未在相關設計競賽獲獎,如經查獲,執行單位有權取消其參賽資格。All participating works shall be the original design of the applicants and have not previously won prizes in design competitions as at the date of registration.

3. 參賽者須配合提供其創作之詳細資料,作為日後公開報導與展示之用。All participants must provide detailed information about their works for future reports and exhibition.

4. 維護參賽者之智慧財產權,建議入圍者繳交模型前先申請專利。To protect intellectual property rights of all participants, the organizer suggests that winning entries shall apply for patents before handing in mockups.

5. 寄件模型為參賽作品,為避免進入台灣海關時間較長,影響作品到達時間;參賽者於寄件時勿將作品價值填寫超過50美元,且自行負責繳納通關時所產生之所有費用。To avoid lengthy customs clearance procedures and transportation delays, foreign participants are advised to declare values of less than US$50. Participants are responsible for all expenses incurred at customs clearance.

6. 獲前三名得獎者須親至頒獎典禮受獎;若未到場之得獎者所獲該獎項之獎(含稅),將以7成支付。且得獎者,須自付參加頒獎典禮之旅費及來台簽證等相關費用。The top three winners must participate in person in the award ceremony in order to receive the award. In case of absence, 30% of the monetary prize (tax included) will be deducted. All travel expenses related to the award ceremony will be borne by the participants.

(二) 關於得獎者For the winners

1. 在公告得獎三年內,獲獎者及其作品應配合參加相關展示活動。Winners and their entries shall participate in related exhibitions for a period of three years, starting from the date of notification of winning the competition.

2. 得獎者應依本國稅法規定課稅。(台灣地區參賽者扣除10%所得稅,其他國家參賽者扣除20%所得稅)Award winners will be taxed in accordance with local tax regulations. (Award winners from Taiwan will be taxed 10% income tax, and foreign award winners will be taxed 20% income tax.)

3. 寄件模型均不退件,模型作品將作為台灣創意設計中心之典藏。Submitted mockups will not be returned. They will be permanently stored by the organizer.

4. 若本競賽後續增設贊助廠商特別獎,得獎作品之智慧財產權為原創者所有,惟贊助單位可就特別獎得獎作品所有權及智慧財產權轉讓或授權事宜享有優先議約權。得獎者如欲於一年後轉售智慧財產權於第三者,須先知會贊助商。If a winner goes on to win a sponsor’s award, the winner retains the intellectual property rights to their entries. However, sponsors shall have priority in acquiring or transferring the ownership or intellectual property rights to the finalists’ designs. If a winner intends to transfer the intellectual property rights to a design within a period of one year, the sponsors shall be notified in advance.

(三) 關於獲獎資格取消Disqualification of Award Winning Title

1. 獲獎作品經人檢舉涉及抄襲或違反智慧財產權等相關法令,經法院一審判決確定,或經著作權審議及調解委員會調解認定確屬侵害他人著作權,執行單位得取消其獲獎資格並追回已頒發之獎金及獎狀。In the event that an award-winning item has been confirmed to be plagiarized or has infringed upon copyright or relevant laws and regulations by decision of a court of law, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entry and take back all prizes and certificates already presented.

2. 獲獎作品經人檢舉或告發為非自行創作或冒用他人作品且有具體事證者,執行單位得取消其獲獎資格並追回已頒發之獎金及獎狀。In the event that an award-winning item has been exposed with solid proof to be not an original creation but a copy of another’s work, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entry and take back all prizes and certificates already presented.

3. 獲獎作品其後續商品化及行銷行為有損大賽精神者,執行單位得取消其獲獎資格並追回已頒發之獎金及獎狀。If commercialization or other sales activities following on from the winning of an award in this competition prove to have violated the guidelines of this competition, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entry and take back all prizes and certificates already presented.

(四) 關於報名資料之處理Registration Information Processing

1. 為競賽業務所需及設計推廣等目的,執行單位須蒐集參賽者之個人資料,參賽者可選擇是否同意執行單位於前述目的必要範圍內,蒐集、處理及利用個資。惟參賽者不同意提供個人資料時,將不利競賽相關之聯繫與後續宣傳推廣服務。For the purposes of competition management and promotion, the organizers shall collect the personal information of all entrants. Entrants may freely decide whether to agree to the collection, processing, and use of their personal information for the aforementioned purposes. If an entrant does not agree to provide their personal information, competition-related communications and subsequent promotions will be negatively affected.

2. 參賽者可於報名時選擇後續是否願意配合執行單位規劃辦理概念商品實踐化之相關媒合活動。When registering for the competition, the entrant may choose whether to participate in matchmaking services by the organizer, aimed at realizing the physical production of concept products.

3. 參賽者應同意執行單位運用獲選作品之圖片與說明文字等資料,製作推廣本競賽效益所需之相關文宣、報導、展覽等。The entrant shall agree to the organizers using information from selected entries, including pictures and descriptive text, in the production of literature, media reports, exhibitions, and other uses for the purposes of promoting the competition.
